Peppercorn and Rosemary Rub Filet Mignon

  • 2 teaspoons black peppercorns
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6 beef tenderloin steaks, trimmed
  • Olive oil


Preheat the grill.

Place peppercorns and rosemary in a motor and pestle and crush them until the pepper and rosemary are coarsely ground. Combine this mixture with dry mustard, salt, and garlic powder; in 2 tea spoon of Oil and rub evenly over both sides of steaks. Place steaks on a grill rack coated with cooking and grill 4 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Serve it Roasted Fingerling Potatoes.
